Description
In a second everything changed and nothing was as predicted.
The clouds become gloomy and chase me, they come for me.
The wind struck out and it hurt me. But here I am, with courage, defying the fury of Cape Horn, like all the sailors who have lifted their spirits here.
For my part, I still see the light in the distance and a promising sky.
*This artwork is part of the “Look + Deep: Reflections of the Chilean Coast” exhibition, which has been showcased at the Vergara Palace Museum.
During November and December, it will be presented at the National Maritime Museum of Chile.
