Description

This painting is from one of the artist’s trips to China. Being captivated by the old used boats slightly submerged in the dappled light of the lake. The natural and warm wood colour contrasts with the greeny-blue water to give life and respect to the old boats.

The artist drew on paper the idea of this art piece from a dumpling shop in China. He observed the scene, and people were curious about why he would draw old forgotten boats.
